Target 7/11-7/17

Posted by mallerysdeals on July 10, 2010 at 2:52 PM Comments comments (0)

In this week's ad there is a $10 gift card for a transferred prescription!

If you haven't already done so you will want to sign up for Target Mobile Alerts/Texts!  They will send out a text with a link to give you special Target coupons.  You can just show the barcode to the cashier if you have a capable phone or you can go to the link provided and print the page out.  It will print the barcode at the top with the coupon details following.  Go HERE to sign up!

Also!!  To sweeten the deal on the numerous sale items you can find while wondering around the store are some new Target coupons!  Click HERE to head on over and grab these.

I am dead serious about printing them NOW!!!  When Target realizes how good certain coupons are they tend to pull them before a lot of people even get them printed.  I also recommend getting your friends and family to print them because there are MANY 100% free clothing items which any charity would love to take off of your hands!

Just a Few Highlights Are:

$3 off Merona Men's top

$2 off Merona Women's top

$5 off Champion Wear

$1 Hanes apparel

$2 off Women's Plus Item

$3 off Merona Purse

$1 off Mt Dew

& Here are Some Finds to Matchup with Those Coupons:

The ones pictures on the right 'the hobo' type are $7 so $4 after the coupon!  Either stash it for a Christmas present, donate it or keep it for yourself!  You really can't beat $4!

You can find a great deal on Men & Women's Champion socks!!  I love a good pair of socks for working out in!  I finally settled on using my $5 coupons on 2 packs of Women's socks because they have the arch support, venting, padding, the whole nine yards!  So it cost .99 for 4 pair, you try and find them cheaper!

If you don't need socks you can grab these Champion shorts for $4.98 which would make them 100% FREE after the coupon!  As you can see too, my store had oodles of them.  Other good finds included workout tanks with the shelving bra in them and some other workout tees.

Whenever Target releases a $1 off Hanes I ALWAYS buy Michael white under shirts.  Those buggers break the bank in my opinion!  I sure do enjoy throwing the old ones away!  You can find a 3 pack regular price at $7.04.  I also bought him a package of no show socks because he has been beggin for some.  I believe those ran me about $5.  My poor savings percentage!!!

I scored Michael a Merona Polo $9.99 - $3 coupon = He is TOO EXPENSIVE $6.99! haha  I can't ever find good Men's clothes on clearance but he wears polos 80% of the time for work so I sacrifice my savings to make him beautiful!

Women's clearance on the other hand is ALWAYS bountiful!  I found numerous shirts under $10 and settled on a nice one on clearance for $3.48 - $2 coupon = a darn good price!!  Before you skim through the full priced clothing to decide what you want to use the coupon on, please browse the clearance!  Or don't and tell me what store you shop at so I can!  :P

This movie deal was still going on and the Doritos are still $2.50 but the movies are almost all sold out!  The deal is buy a movie at $5 plus purchase a Frito Lay chip item (Doritios are $2.50) and you can use the $2 coupon that is  right on the movie!

So we love 'em and hate 'em, the unadvertised gift card deals!  It takes someone with a lot of time on their hands, like me, to share these with you because a lot of times you don't see them unless you walk up and down EVERY aisle, like I do!  Trust me you do not want to know how long I spent at Target today!

So this picture is deciving in a good way!  The razors are actually $5.49 not $6.49!  Wahoo!  And the deal is as follows: Buy 2 Schick disposable razors get a $5 Target gift card.  Now this is only valid on the 3 count Quattro razors and you can only use the $2 coupon from the paper, not the $4 one on these.  But there is a light at the end of the tunnel for some!

Schick has an instant win game where you can try your Memory luck to win prizes or high value printable coupons!  I am a happy camper if you give me coupons, I don't need prizes!  You can play the game HERE.

Purchase 2 razor packs at $5.49 - (2) $2 coupons = $6.98 out of pocket - $5 gift card = $1.98 for 2!  So my tip for anyone starting out is to do your gift card deal in your first transaction so you can use the $5 on the rest of the items you are buying to help keep your out of pocket low for the trip.

HERE IS THE DOWNFALL to this deal.  My Target updated their register computers so the first coupon is coming off just fine.  Then the second one is ringing up $0!!  The register is thinking that the gift card is a coupon and not even allowing an override.  So after 3 associates were consulted we figured out to ad something else to the order I was already buying that was more than $2 so I could get my $2 coupon to ring in right.  PLEASE WATCH YOUR TOTAL!!  There is nothing worse than getting home just to find out your receipt isn't right.

I had been wanting to get Michael a lunch box and seeing how it is back to school season they are a fantastic $3.79!  You can choose between grey, red, pink and blue.  And take a peek inside because there are COUPONS!

A Few Highlights in the school supplies were:

.20 Rose Art glue sticks

.50 Markers and colored pencils

$8.99 Backpacks

.25 Composition Notebooks

There was a .50 coupon for Mott's Medleys in the paper previously and it was on sale for $2.48.  Juicy Juice was on sale as well and there is a coupon for Juicy Juice HERE!!  I found Wasa Rye crackers for $1.60 on clearance and there is a coupon for $1.50/2 HERE making them $1.70/2!

Did you print out the $3 Neutrogena coupon?  This Mascara and eye liner duo is on clearance for $6.28 making it $3.28 for both!

Remeber the BOGO Bear Naked Coupon?  Well $3.79 for two decent sized bags of granola is a good price in my book!

Did you see the $1 Target coupon when you printed the others?  If you have a $1 Kotex U coupon from a free sample lying around it would make these $1.84 each.  I personally would go to Rite Aid this week for the Always/Tampax deal!

A note on the B1G1 Fiber Plus Target coupon.  They are accidently taking off $4.29 so you could end up with a better deal than you thought but if they catch it don't be mad because it isn't suppose to be that much.  You could catch grief for stacking the $1/2 Kelloggs coupon so be sure to have your coupon policy ready and if you lose the battle be sure you complete that customer survey and/or call corporate to get to the bottom of the problem.  Try and prevent grief by giving the $1/2 coupon first before the Target one.

Final Total = $53.17

Total Savings $63.07

Items to Donate = 2 Markers, 2 Colored Pencils, 5 Glue Sticks and 4 Composition Notebooks = $4
